The 2011-2012 season of Tunesmith Night wraps up on Saturday, May 12 at Lear’s Main Street Grill (yes, the show WILL be at Lear's) with songwriters Tracy Spring, Carolyn Lochert and Janis Carper (with Cris Peterson). Known for her compelling vocals and versatile guitar playing, Spring, whose home is in Bellingham, WA, will be finishing up a tour in Alaska, bringing with her a bundle of new songs. Lochert has also been busy writing new material, and her fine vocals with jazz and blues influence will lend a rich texture to Saturday’s show. Carper, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist and songwriting partner Cris Peterson, is happy to step aside from her Tunesmith Night hosting duties to share some of her new music.
The Music Alliance thanks Steve & Cathi Lear and the staff at our hosting venue (Lear’s Main Street Grill, 111 W. Main, Enterprise) for another successful season. Saturday’s show starts at 7PM, doors open at 6PM. Admission $8 or by season pass. Tunesmith Night fans who attend most of our monthly showcases should consider purchasing a season pass for the 2012-2013 Tunesmith Night season. A season pass covers admission to every Tunesmith Night show, October 2012 through May 2013, for the low price of only $55. If you purchase before the end of the current season (May 12) you will receive a complimentary ticket to JUNIPER JAM 2012, held on Saturday, September 1 at the Enterprise Fairgrounds. Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas, July 1-7, 2012
Join us this July to learn Appalachian mountain dulcimer at our Second Annual Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas! Here’s what last year’s students said about our first camp with instructors Steve Seifert, Bob Webb and Heidi Muller:

- “This has been a fantastic experience. All instructors are excellent teachers."
- "I had no expectations - I could NEVER have guessed I would be exposed to so much... all around excellent experience!"
- “Fun and inspiring - such nice people, beautiful setting... the pace was relaxed and there was plenty to take away from every class."
Our instructors for 2012 are Stephen Seifert, Susan Trump, Bob Webb and Heidi Muller. We will again make music among the tall trees at the Wallowa Lake Camp and Conference Center, just minutes from the south end of Wallowa Lake in northeastern Oregon. Look for our ad in the winter issue of Dulcimer Players’ News and our banner on EverythingDulcimer.com, and let your friends know about us! Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas is hosted by Heidi Muller & Bob Webb, and sponsored by the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance.
